Most Lean Six Sigma training is heavy on the maths and light on the “how-to”. However, we’ve fixed that. This is a pure Lean practitioner course focused on the A3 framework and real-world problem solving.

After completing the classroom training, you move straight into coaching support to deliver your improvement project. As a result, you’ll be able to apply what you’ve learned immediately within your organisation.

Unlike many traditional programmes, there are no exams and no complex statistics—instead, the course focuses on the practical skills you need to lead meaningful change.

“Investing in the Lean Practitioner Green Belt delivered double-digit savings for our business. However, the real value lay in the practical involvement; it not only developed our team’s knowledge and skills but, more importantly, built the confidence they needed to lead change.”

“The Lean Practitioner Greenbelt programme really strengthened our CI Champions by giving them the structures and skills they need to apply root cause analysis across our sites. It’s given me the confidence that they can successfully deploy these tools in the field.”

What you’ll get out of it:

Massive ROI:

A successful Green Belt project often returns twenty times the cost of the training.

Expert Coaching:

You’re not left on your own. We include five virtual coaching sessions to help you navigate the tricky parts of your project.

Viable Results:

You won’t just learn theory; you’ll implement a tangible improvement project in your own business.

A New Mindset:

You’ll move from firefighting to a systematic way of thinking that eliminates waste and improves flow.

 What to expect?

  • You’ll begin with five days of face to face training. During the first three days, you will learn the core Lean principles and tools needed to begin identifying improvement opportunities. Afterwards, you will return to the classroom with your own observations of examples of waste you’ve identified within your organisation. This, in turn, will help you and your sponsor identify your future improvement project.
  • Following the initial training, you’ll spend November 2026 through to March 2027 working on your own improvement project. During this time, you’ll receive five virtual coaching sessions. These sessions will help you navigate the challenges of your project — it’s not always easy, but the learning is invaluable.
  • Finally, on 23rd March 2027, you’ll present your storyboard, the business benefits of your project, and your personal reflections on the challenges and experience you gained throughout the process. As a result, you will receive your certification as a Lean Practitioner Green Belt.
  • Furthermore, a Lean-only Green Belt is defined by their mastery of Lean principles and their ability to lead and execute problem-solving projects using the A3 framework. This certification therefore validates a practitioner’s ability to drive practical improvements in a specific business area by focusing on the elimination of waste and the optimisation of process flow.

The Pre-Enrolment Site Visit

We don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. Before the course even begins, a member of our team will visit your site to meet with the delegate and your business sponsor.

We’ll look closely at your plant’s current Lean maturity so we can tailor the training specifically to your individual needs. Most importantly, this upfront visit makes sure the improvement project you choose sits squarely within what both the individual and your plant can actually handle right now. We want to set you up for a win, which means picking a project that fits your site’s current capability perfectly, rather than one that’s too big to deliver.

Return on Investment:

Each delegate attending will have the primary goal of developing the skills and knowledge to apply Lean thinking.

The benefits to the business with their Green Belt improvement project can often by twenty times the cost of the training and in many cases significantly more.

However, some projects can focus heavily on non-financial improvements such as risk avoidance and workplace safety – it is up to the delegate and their internal sponsor to decide with the guidance of the TNE coach.

Who should attend?
  • This is for the “Leaders of the Process”—the people who are going to make things happen on the ground.
  • Future Lean Champions: Anyone aimed at gaining practical problem-solving skills.
  • Operational Leaders: Supervisors, managers, and directors from any department.
  • CI Professionals: Existing Lean staff who want more rigour in their approach.
